Dr. Styliani Sarri received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) in 2011 and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Engineering (STI), Electrical Engineering, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2016. During her PhD, she worked in several projects, such as C-DAX FP7 European project and NanoTera S3 Grid and she was a tutor in 8 bachelor and master theses. She was also a Teaching Assistant in the courses “Smart Grids Technologies” and “Eurotech Winter School: Integrated Approaches to Energy Systems”. She is currently a researcher at ICCS and she is also employed by the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy at the Market Monitoring and Competition Department, where she works on the implementation of the target model, capacity remuneration mechanisms, integration of RES in the energy market etc. She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2011. Her main research interests include real-time electrical network monitoring, operation and control with particular focus on state estimation of active distribution networks. She also works on the development of real-time models, load forecasting techniques and implementation of mathematical analysis methods on power system applications.

Dr. George Kiokes graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus. He received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering, his Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications and his M.Sc. in Engineering Systems Management from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2004, 2009 and 2012 respectively.
He is currently a member of the Special Educational Laboratory Personnel at Hellenic Air Force Academy in the Department of Electronics, Electric Power and Telecommunications. Since 2005 he is a senior researcher at the ICCS and Smart RUE group of NTUA and has participated in several European projects (e.g. PREVENT, WILLWARN, ADAS, SMART-VEI, ΕriGrid e.t.c). He was an adjunct lecturer in different departments for the last decade, where he has had the opportunity to supervise more than 40 diploma theses and teach several undergraduate full time taught courses, such as Telecommunications Principles, Wireless Communications, Mobile Communication Networks, Electric Energy Systems, Automatic Control Systems, RF Embedded Systems Design and others.
Currently he is graduate student in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of West Attica in Athens.
He is a member of Technical Chamber of Greece and an IEEE member.

Rebecca Gogou received the Diploma in Civil Engineering from the University of Patra in 2009. She has worked as a civil engineer in PCC in the sector of RES in non-interconnected Islands. In 2013 received the license of permanent Energy Inspector in Buildings and undertakes energy studies and inspections. She started working in the Laboratory of Power Systems, participating in research projects related to Building Energy Management System and evaluation of "smart grid" in cities (BEAMS, SmartKYE). Also, she is a student in the Postgraduate Program “Earthquake engineering and seismic resistant structures”. Her research interests include Renewable Energy Sources, Energy Management Systems, the evolvement of distribution networks into smart grids, Energy Generation in Isolated Systems, repair and strengthening of structures. She is member of the technical chamber of Greece (TEE).
