In collaboration with the Non-Interconnected Island Network Operation Department of HEDNO, a platform for the economical and energy analysis of the islands has been developed. The platform allows convenient estimation of the effects of various parameters on the economical performance of the island operation and the calculation of various indices like the guaranteed operational hours of the RES stations using a user-friendly graphical interface. The new version includes novel RES technologies, like hybrid stations and solar-thermal plants.
