Orestis Andreadis received his Diploma in 2016 from the School of Geology and Geoenvironment, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The title of his thesis is “Geophysical Research in the northern edges of Ossa Mountain, in Pinios' river delta (Larisa District)”. He works as a researcher in the laboratory of Power Systems and is currently studying for his Msc in “Environmental Management Strategies”, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Andrew-Dorotheos Syrmakesis received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2017. Since 2018, he works as a research assistant at the Smart RUE research group of NTUA, and since 2019 his is also a PhD candidate in the field of Cyber Security for Smart Grids. His research interests include cyber security for cyber-physical systems, software-defined networks and machine learning. He also works as system administrator for SmartRUE’s networks and servers. He is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.

Athanasios Botsis received a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2016. Since 2017 he has been a member of the SmartRUE research team in the Electric Energy Systems Laboratory of the electric power division of NTUA, participating in European research projects. In 2019 he received his MSc degree from the postgraduate course “Energy Production and Management” of NTUA. His research interests include energy markets, TSO-DSO coordination, Renewable Energy Sources penetration and provision of ancillary services from Distributed Generation through energy markets as well as power system reliability. He is a member of the technical chamber of Greece.

Panagiotis Pediaditis received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in 2012. He has worked as an R&D engineer for NOKIA and as a researcher at the Smart RUE research group of NTUA. In 2017, Mr. Pediaditis received his MSc degree in Sustainable Energy – Electric Energy Systems from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Since 2018, he is a PhD candidate and a researcher for the Smart RUE research group of NTUA. His research interests are smart grids, renewable energy integration, distribution networks, mathematical optimization and machine learning.

Ioannis Karakitsios received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2011. He received his PhD degree for his research on "Contributions in the development of wireless inductive charging systems for electric vehicles" in 2019 from the same school. He is a researcher at the Smart RUE research group of NTUA since 2011. His research interests include E-mobility (conductive and inductive charging of electric vehicles), Demand- Response services as well as issues concerning the electricity market in Non-Interconnected Islands. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and an IEEE member.

Kyriakos Pantziris received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2010 and the MSc. in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in 2014. His working experience lies in the fields of Electricity Markets and Renewable Energy Sources while he is currently working in the Power Systems sector. He is also a Researcher and PhD candidate at the Electric Power Division of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (NTUA). His research interests include Smart electricity Distribution and Transmission Systems, the coordination of the Operators of the aforementioned systems and Electricity Markets.

He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 2012 from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is currently a PhD student at the Electric Power Division of NTUA in the area of Distributed Energy Resources. Since 2012, he has been working as a researcher in the Smart grids Research Unit where he has involved in R&D projects (e.g. DERri, NobelGrid, WiseGrid) in collaboration with native and European research institutes and universities in the field of renewable energy sources, microgrids and energy efficiency. He is also member of the Rural Electrification Research Group of the NTUA, a group which conducts interdisciplinary research with the aim of providing technical solutions for rural energy access. His current research interest include microgrids, control of power electronics, distributed generation, ancillary services. He is an IEEE student member and member of the technical chamber of Greece.
