Panayiotis Moutis received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in November 2007. He is involved in R&D projects in collaboration with native and European research institutes, industries and universities in the field of renewable energy sources, microgirds and energy efficiency. He has participated as a teacher in the Energy Academy of the Ios-Aegean Energy Agency and as a tutor in the Power System Analysis courses of ECE NTUA. Since 2006 he has also been offering technical consulting to the sector of photovoltaic investments in Greece from various posts. His research interests lie in the field of renewable sources integration, virtual power plants, microgrids and application of artificial intelligence to power systems. He is a graduate student member of the Power & Energy, Computational Intelligence and Computer IEEE societies and a registered member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
