Nikolaos Savvopoulos

Nikolaos Savvopoulos received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), Greece, in 2014 and the MSc degree in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2018.

He was an Associate Scientist with the Automation Department, ABB Corporate Research Center, Switzerland from 2016 to 2018. Since September 2018, he is a researcher with the Smart RUE research group of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). His main research focuses on planning and operation of power systems, optimization under uncertainty and electricity markets. He is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and of IEEE.
